Based on the final 2011 District Accountability Data Report, Tahlequah Public Schools did not meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for a second consecutive year in math and has been identified as a district in need of improvement year 1. Students in grades 3-8 and in Algebra I were assessed in math in the spring 2011.

Based on preliminary results, Tahlequah Middle School did not meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for a second consecutive year in reading and has been identified as a school in need of improvement year 1.  All students in grades 5-8 (over 800 students) were assessed in reading and math at Tahlequah Middle School in the spring 2011.

Remembering Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor Day, Dec. 7, 2011, marks the 70th anniversary of the attack by the Japanese on the American naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The bombing of Pearl Harbor led to the U.S. entering World War II, as President Roosevelt declared it “a date which will live in infamy.”

When: October 10th – November 14th, all practices and games will be from 6-8pm

Registration:
We will register 3rd & 4th graders on Mon, Oct 10th at 5:30pm for evaluation and team assignments.
We will register 5th & 6th  graders on Mon, Oct 10th at 7pm for evaluation and team assignments.
